Candidates must have completed the Certificate II in General English and ESP or equivalent before commencing this Certificate. Recognition of prior learning can be granted if candidates can demonstrate an appropriate level of English language proficiency.

To achieve a Certificate III in English Language Teaching Methodology a total number of 11 units must be completed.
