Candidates must have:completed a CertificateII in General Construction or completed a stand-alone trade certificate at level II or completed the specific prerequisites for the Units as described in the course outline

Candidates must successfully pass the entry level Basic Medical Check

Candidates may also enter the qualification through a number of other pathways including:

• completing an equivalent construction course
• having worked in related industry for a period of time and able to demonstrate the competencies for Certificate 2 in General Construction or Certificate II in Metal Fabrication.

To achieve a Certificate III in Metal Fabrication a total number of 20 units must be completed.
