Candidates must have completed a Certificate 2 in the fundamentals of Electrical competencies trade certificate at level 2 or completed the specific prerequisites for the Units as described in the course outline

Candidates must successfully pass the entry level Basic Medical Check

Candidates may also enter this qualification through a number of other pathways including:

• completing an equivalent electrical course
• having worked in related industry for a period of time and able to demonstrate the competencies for Certificate 2.

To achieve a Certificate III in Electrical (fundamentals) a total number of 19 units must be completed.
