Candidates must have completed the Certificate I in General English Language or demonstrate an equivalent level of English language proficiency before commencing this Certificate II.

To achieve a Certificate II in General English and ESP, 10 units must be completed. There are no elective units.

EFAIJ2009A  Understand and use classroom language  (ESP unit)

EFAIJ2010A  Understand a professional development text  (ESP unit)

The two ESP units above can be tailored to specific sectors such as maritime services, the oil and gas industry, tourism and hospitality.
