Candidates must have completed a Certificate II in Financial Services or can demonstrate competence in these units before commencing this Certificate III.

Candidates may enter this qualification through a number of entry points including:

  • completing Certificate II in Financial Services or other relevant level II Certificates;
  • having worked in the Banking, Microfinance or Administrative sector for two or more years.

Candidates would be expected to have level 2 Language and Numeracy Proficiency in either Tetum or Portuguese and have basic oral and written skills in Workplace English or Portuguese.

To achieve a Certificate III in Financial Services a total number of 16 units must be completed including work experience
